Tell us a bit about yourself and your family… I’m from Singapore and I’m 22 this year. My mum is a social worker working for the government and my dad is a maintenance officer in a property company. I have an older sister who is 24 this year who had just graduated last year from the National University of Singapore in a degree in Sociology and is working now. I have a younger brother who is 15 and is in Secondary 3 this year. I have a dog too, his name is Milo and he’s a Silky Terrier. He’s 9 this year and he’s my little darling.
Where, and what are you studying here in Melbourne? I’m in my final year at RMIT University under the Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) program.
Share something with us about your faith in Christ … Prayer is probably an important part in keeping me grounded in Christ. It certainly helps in constantly keeping a positive mindset and attitude in whatever I do or whatever situation that I may be in. Amidst all that, it keeps me in check and a reminder that it is Christ that I am dependent on, not myself.
When you are not studying, how do you spend your time? I’ll probably be home watching television or shows online or out for a movie.
If you were showing someone the sights in your home-town, where would you take them? I will probably take them to the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari. If budget allows, probably Universal Studios Singapore too.
Ideally where would you see yourself in 5 years? I’ll probably be a financial or tax accountant in an accounting firm. |
